Ms. Sophie Sinclair

Ms. Sinclair is a member of the primary team and will be teaching 2nd grade at UDA this year. She was born in San Diego, but lived overseas for years until returning to California to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures. In 2021, Ms. Sinclair received her Master of Arts in Teaching from USC Rossier School of Education in Los Angeles, and shortly thereafter returned full-circle to San Diego. This school year will be her second year teaching at UDA and she is very excited for the opportunity to create more memories with returning students and students new to the UDA family. In her spare time, Ms. Sinclair enjoys rediscovering San Diego, cooking, reading, stand-up paddle boarding, learning to surf, camping, and spending quality time with her cat (Marie). She is so looking forward to the learning and fun that this school year holds and is excited to build meaningful relationships with her students and their families.
