Español para Hablantes Nativos Assignments

 

Los estudiantes hispanohablantes de 8º tienen una tarea que corresponde a nuestra excursión a la Biblioteca Central mañana (el 15 de octubre.)

 

This year in Middle School students will have weekly Spanish homework, along with class activities and practice at home as needed. The goal of this homework is for students to consistently use the Spanish language outside of the classroom, in a variety of ways. My goal is to assign homework that is relevant, authentic, and fits with a variety of student levels, learning styles, and interests. 

 

Students will choose activities from the attached list and turn in a report via Google Classroom. See more details in the attached document, or on Google Classroom. If you have suggestions for things to add to this list, please email me! I will be adjusting these options as needed.

 

(This will be a weekly assignment posted on Google Classroom, so will not be posted here on Edlio every week. Students should be logging into Google Classroom regularly with their school account to see announcements, assignments, and reminders.)

 

Especially for new families, this gives me some helpful information on how to best support you and your child!

 

A paper copy was also included in your back-to-school packets (or sent home with Middle School students the first week of class.)
