Elizabeth Mondani

Elizabeth Mondani grew up in the East Bay Area of Northern California, before moving to San Diego in 2013 to pursue her Bachelor’s degree in Early Elementary Education at San Diego State University. Ms. Mondani graduated from SDSU in 2017 and began her teaching career as a substitute for various schools throughout San Diego before finding her way to what felt like home at Urban Discovery Schools in 2019. She was originally drawn to the organization because of its bright colored walls and exciting opportunities, but was quickly enamored with the deep love for student well-being and creative thinking that Urban Discovery strives to instill in anyone who walks through our doors. In her spare time, Ms. Mondani loves to get outside, listen to music, and play with her dog, BonBon (a local UDA celebrity). Ms. Mondani recently earned her teaching credential from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education, and is extremely excited to continue building meaningful relationships with her students and their families!
