Othon De Los Rios

Mr. Othon De Los Rios was born and raised in San Diego, and currently holds an associate’s degree in psychology while working towards his bachelor’s in child and adolescent development. Mr. O worked in the psych unit at San Diego Children’s Hospital before making his way to Urban Discovery Schools, and is now our Wellness Coordinator at the Secondary Site. He believes that our next generation is the key to a better future, and wants to do anything he can to help students be the best they can be – which he says starts with wellness! In his spare time Mr. O loves to listen to music, play one of the various instruments he is skilled in, go to the beach, and skate around beautiful San Diego. Mr. O is extremely excited about opening up the wellness center, meeting our wonderful community, and watching both elements thrive!
