Ms. Hannah Reid

Ms. Reid can not be more excited to have her first year teaching as a high school math teacher with Urban Discovery Schools this year! Ms. Reid grew up playing volleyball and surfing in Huntington Beach, California. Ms. Reid was on the women’s beach volleyball team at Orange Coast College where she earned her associate’s degree in Mathematics. She continued her education at California State University, Long Beach where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics: Economic Theory & Mathematical Economics. Her love for learning encouraged her to jump right into a Master’s and teaching credential program. Ms. Reid graduated with a Master’s in Education and a teaching credential in mathematics in the spring of 2023. She’s been a girl’s club volleyball coach for five years and was an assistant varsity coach for the girl’s volleyball team at Corona Del Mar high school. Ms. Reid’s coaching experience will be an asset in the classroom as she inspires and challenges her students to be the best people they can be first, and the best math students they can be second. Ms. Reid is looking forward to building relationships with students as she shares her love for math at Urban Discovery Schools!
