We will be having a College and Career Readiness Parent Workshop on October 23rd at 4:30 pm. This interactive workshop for parents and caregivers provides insight into 21st – century skills essential for success in school, college, and career. It is designed to serve as a foundation for supporting learners at home and to be aligned with and augment metacognitive skills development approaches used by K-12 schools in the United States. Parents are also offered an insider’s perspective on the college admissions process as pertains to readiness, including advisement on effective preparation for postsecondary education; application and testing; finding the right ‘fit’; and thriving in the college/university setting.
