About the School Advisory Council
The Urban Discovery Academy School Advisory Council serves as an advisory body to the Board of Trustees and provides recommendations in the following areas:
  • Make recommendations to the Local Control Accountability plans as it pertains to Supplemental, Concentration, and/or Title I-III funds;
  • Develop and make recommendations for effective programs and services to support students identified as being “high needs” by the State of California.
  • Ongoing evaluations of plans being implemented that serve within the scope of the Committee;
  • Other activities and objectives as recommended by the Council and approved by the Board of Trustee.
