MS. RODRIGUEZ

Yanitza was born and raised in San Diego and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She earned her degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and her Master's in Education from Point Loma University. Outside the classroom, she volunteers with a nonprofit that brings medical and wellness clinics to underserved communities around the world, empowering individuals and families. She loves creating a classroom where students feel valued, show kindness, and grow into compassionate leaders. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, and spending time outdoors with her dog and family.
