MS. MONDANI

Elizabeth Mondani grew up in the East Bay Area of Northern California and moved to San Diego in 2013 to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Early Elementary Education from San Diego State University. After graduating in 2017, she began her teaching career as a substitute teacher across San Diego before joining Urban Discovery Schools in 2019. She was initially drawn to the school's vibrant atmosphere but quickly fell in love with its commitment to student well-being, creativity, and meaningful learning. Ms. Mondani recently earned her teaching credential from the High Tech High Graduate School of Education and is passionate about building strong relationships with her students and their families. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys spending time outdoors, listening to music, and playing with her dog, BonBon, a beloved member of the UDA community. She is grateful to be part of the Urban Discovery family and looks forward to continuing to grow alongside her students each year.
